PIPEFITTER APPRENTICESHIP APPLICATIONS
**NOTICE**
APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE MAY 6th-17th 2024 MON-FRI 8AM-12PM
Beginning
on Monday, MAY 6th, 2024 until Friday, May 17th, 2024, Pipefitters
Local 274, located at 205 Jefferson Road, Parsippany, NJ, will be
offering 75 Pipefitter Apprenticeship Applications for the five (5) year
Pipefitter Apprentice Training Program. All applications must be filled
out in person between the hours of 8:00 AM through 12 PM Mon-Fri.
Applications will only be issued on a first come, first served basis.
When all (75) Applications have been filled, recruitment will be closed.
Applicants must be 18 years of age for Apprenticeship.
IN ORDER TO RECEIVE AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION YOU MUST PRESENT
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS AT THAT TIME: (No Exceptions)
(COPIES ONLY – NO ORIGINALS ACCEPTED)
1. Copy of your High School Diploma or GED
2. Copy of your High School Transcripts or GED Scores
3. Copy of your valid Driver’s License with PHOTO
4. Three (3) letters of Character Reference
5. and ONE of the following
a. Social Security Card
b. U.S. Passport
c. Birth Certificate
All
applicants will be scheduled for and required to pass the Work Keys
aptitude test which examines the skill level for Applied Mathematics and
Work Place Documents.(Min. Score=5) For Practice Exams contact ACT
Workkeys or www.act.org/workkeys. Applicants will be required to cover
the expense of the test at a cost of $45.00. All successful applicants
will be required to pass a physical exam and drug test as prescribed by
the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of Pipefitters Local 274. The cost of
the drug test/physical will be the responsibility of the applicant. For

No copies
will be made on premises for any reason. Please park in the South
Entrance and follow any signs or directions when you arrive.
